At Arethusaneng Holdings, we specialize in engineering and business consulting services that help organizations across various industries thrive. Our passion for delivering exceptional service stems from our founder, Thabiso Phali, who recognized the need to diversify his income streams and broaden his expertise in multiple areas.
Originally founded in Johannesburg in 2018, Arethusaneng Holdings has since grown to serve clients across South Africa with a wide range of services including consulting services for private companies, engineering life cycle process and equipment supplies to various industries such as Telecoms, Information Technology and Electrical.

Meet the Team
Mr Thabiso Phali
Managing Director
Thabiso Phali is an ECSA-registered Candidate Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the planning, design, execution and management of Electrical and Telecoms capital and infrastructure projects. He acquired his BSc Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Johannesburg and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
His experience covers the full project lifecycle from the development of project charter to business case preparation, design, implementation, testing and commissioning of projects, and providing technical support to operations and maintenance teams. As the leader of Arethusaneng, Thabiso has interfaced with multiple working streams ranging from technical, financial, and legal personnel to ensure the continued operations of the business.
His keen interest is in the application of exponential technologies to improve business operations and digitally transforming business models to ensure relevance and sustainability in the 4IR era.
Mr Papiso Phali
Safety Officer
Mr Papiso Phali is an experienced Safety officer with more than 6 years of experience working in Building Construction, Electrical and Petroleum entities. He is skilled in MS Office (Microsoft Word & Excel), negotiation, attention to detail, leadership, and construction safety.
His education ranges from Principle and Procedures; Introduction to SAMTRAC, SAMTRAC, SAMTRAC for Mining from NOSA. Papiso is fully registered with SACPCMP Board as Safety Officer, and he is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace. His area of responsibility includes compliance with all HSSE regulations relating to occupational safety and health. He provides leadership, training, information, resources, policy development, and consultation services to all employees and Client departments.
The Engineering Team
The engineering team of Arethusaneng consists of ECSA-registered Professional Engineers with consulting experience, design, execution and management of capital and infrastructure projects. The teams experience covers the full project lifecycle from the development of project strategy to business case preparation, implementation, testing and commissioning of capital projects, and providing operations and maintenance support. They have previously worked on a variety of projects composed of and interacting with multiple working streams – technical, financial, commercial, and legal teams.
